About Dustin

Water filtration

Cleaner water for the whole house

Chlorine taste, hard-water scale or iron stains. We find out what is in your water first, then treat it inside the house.

Straight about our hours

We are not a 24-hour company

We work 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and turn up when we say. If something goes wrong after hours, do this first:

  • Water where it shouldn't be

Shut off the main valve. Once the water is off, it can wait for a proper repair.

  • You smell gas

Leave the house. From outside, call 911 and your gas company.

  • Sewage coming up a drain

Stop running water: no flushing, no laundry. Then call us.

Common questions

How much will it cost?

We do not charge by the hour. We look at the job, tell you one flat price, and do the work for that price — even if it takes longer than we thought or we hit a surprise. You know the number before any work starts, and you can say no.

Do you do emergency or after-hours calls?

No. We answer 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and book real appointment times, so every job gets our full attention. If water is running where it should not, shut off the main valve and call us for the first open time. If you smell gas, leave the house and call 911 and your gas company from outside.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Troubled Water is licensed, bonded and insured. Our Oklahoma plumbing license is OK203156, and you can check it yourself on the state's license lookup — the link is on our About page.

What areas do you serve?

All of Cherokee County, from our shop at 309 E South St in Tahlequah. That includes Park Hill, Hulbert, Keys, Welling, Cookson, Peggs, Woodall, Moodys, Briggs, Eldon, Lost City, Scraper, Burnt Cabin and the Lake Tenkiller area, plus Christie just over the Adair County line.

Can I just text you a photo?

Yes, and it often saves a trip. Text a photo of the problem to (918) 822-7918 with your town, and Dustin will tell you what he thinks it is and what happens next.
